Creeping Meatballism- The Gift That Keeps Giving

Once again it is that time of year when we are caught in the whirlwind of nostalgic demands and the sharp constraints of conformity. A time when the old Fathead himself would go on for hours telling us about the woes of the creeping meatballism that rolls in during the season.....

And yet here we are, surrounded by 24 hour marathons and local theater production of "A Christmas Story" drenched in the N word, nostalgia, in ways the old Fathead would go purple ranting about.

Eventually we all become parodies of ourselves. Cue the music....

"Maybe that’s why the nostalgic holiday tale is so popular, said actor Chris Carsten" "“When you recall your childhood, there’s that one gift you had to jump through hoops to get,” he said, remembering how, in his own life, “There was a camera I really wanted when I was a kid. It took some doing to get my parents on board. When I finally got one, it was a magical moment, just like in the show.”
